Discover the healing properties of a drumming circle! Throughout history, women have gathered in circles to drum, dance and connect with one another as a community. Drumming circles offer an excellent way for women to explore their own personal rhythms while sharing in the spirit and song of the drumming circle. Thirteen Moon's full moon drumming circles use rhythm as a meditative and therapeutic activity. Everyone can participate regardless of musical background. Drums available for small additional charge. Refreshments served afterwards

Some other programs that Wendy facilitates:

Rites of Passage
This event is geared to daughters who are about to enter into their first moon cycle as well as those who have recently done so and wish to celebrate it in a meaningful way. With guidance from Wendy, a loving mother and grandmother, participants will create a beautiful Rites of Passage ceremony both mothers and daughters will cherish for the rest of their lives. This retreat will no longer be part of our regular calendar though it can be booked for your group of friends.

“The Rites of Passage weekend provided extraordinary tools for guiding my daughter on her path as she discovers her womanhood.” PVR, Kingston

A Journey to Self
Our primary goal during this 5 day retreat will be waking up to what we already know about what we want, but need to act on.  Each morning will begin with a meditation that will lead us into a Yoga session adapted for the theme of the day. Participants will discuss challenges you are dealing and each day will give you the opportunity for quiet time on your own and pamper yourself with body work.  Our objective is for you to leave feeling good from the inside out, and with tools to stay that way, at home and at work..

Light as a Feather
This 5 day retreat will consist of activities that will help you feel like a feather, physically light and yet soaring to your highest needs internally. Taking care of you will be our goal. The days will be designed according to what you need. “Everyday you can take part in a Yoga session with yoga instructor Vicki Barkla, a former teacher who has been practicing yoga for over 25 years who will tailor each session to your level of experience. You will also have the opportunity to enjoy some rejuvenating body work.” We hope to make this a week you will never forget and you’ll want to add to your calendar every year. It is time for women to have an experience like this - to just be and float through the day like a feather would float in the air.

Coping with the Challenges of Parenting
November 7
At this time in our so called evolution we are facing a real epidemic of
lost children. It's time to stop talking and take some positive action
to change things before they get any worse.Children need to know they are LOVED, and not through the acquiring of
things, but through quality time with their parents and close family.
This costs nothing. Our children need HOPE, we must always encourage them to reach their potential by showing them what is working, rather then what is not
working. Our children need to know they are ENTERING A SAFE PLACE, whenever or whatever they bring to the table. They must know that you will listen and help them to make right choices. Screaming at them or telling them I am too busy right now, just isn't good enough. Make the time.
Bring your challenges to the circle and be willing to listen and committ
to making changes that will help our children reach their potential.
As Ghandi said...Be the change you want to see in the world.
