With Thirteen Moons, Louise Racine, B.S.SC., C.N.P., has realized her dream of having a special place to share with other women who want to achieve balance and harmony in their lives.

After a successful professional career with the federal government, Louise decided to follow her passion for food and studied at The Institute of Holistic Nutrition in Toronto. As a Certified Nutritional Practitioner since July 2000, Louise is well qualified to guide you on your quest for wellness. She is committed to inspiring clients to improve their health and well-being through nutrition and self-care.

In the community she has created here, she has come to be known as Woman of Nurturing. Whether you participate in her vegetarian cooking workshops or experience her fabulous meals as a retreat guest, you’re sure to be impressed with her knowledge, easy manner and creativity.

Louise believes that your visit to Thirteen Moons will enhance your life in a meaningful way. Louise has created a community of gifted facilitators who lead retreats and workshops throughout the year. Thirteen Moons has become a meeting place for inspirational gatherings of women of all ages to learn from and grow with each other.

Facilitators wishing to become a part of this growing community can contact Louise to discuss their offerings.

Red Dog
One fine Saturday in March of 2001, nine months after moving here, Louise returned from a trip to the market to find a beautiful reddish colored Golden Retriever in the yard. After several unsuccessful attempts to find out where he came from, she and her partner Steve resigned themselves to becoming first time pet owners. Over the years, Red Dog brought much joy to everyone he came in contact with. For many guests, a little Red Dog therapy was the highlight of their visit. Sadly, at the beginning of 2012, Red Dog transitioned to the spirit world though his loving energy will remain with us forever.

"You do make a huge difference in the lives of women that you share yourself with."
